The Beneficiaries:

Since 2001, The Children’s Grief Center of New Mexico (CGC) has been providing free bereavement services to children ages 5-25 after the death of a loved one. Studies show that children with unresolved grief have a higher risk of developing lifelong struggles such as depression, substance abuse, unhealthy coping techniques, criminal activity, etc. By providing a safe place and age appropriate ways to process grief, children can find the hope and healing they need to move forward.

The Grief Resource Center offers understanding, hope, and encouragement to adults who are experiencing grief. The GRC merged with the Children’s Grief Center in 2019, allowing both organizations to combine efforts and serve more bereaved people, more effectively.
